Statement of Faith

Our Christian Business Association is comprised of members from many different Christian churches and denominations. These churches have many different views that can vary from one another. We believe that there are doctrines that are essential to our faith as followers and disciples of Christ Jesus. These doctrines are the absolute foundation of our faith. They are:

• The Inerrancy of Scripture We believe that the Bible is inspired by God in its entirety; is without error in the original writings and is a complete and final written revelation from God. (2 Timothy 3:15-17, 2 Peter 1:21)

• The Deity of Jesus We believe that Jesus of Nazareth is the promised Messiah, born of a Virgin, totally without sin, God in human flesh, the One who died on the cross for our sins, was buried, rose again from the dead on the third day and ascended to the right hand of the Father in heaven where He now intercedes for us who believe in Him. (John 1:36-42, Isaiah 7:14, Matthew 1:23, Luke 1:34-35, Hebrews 4:15, Hebrews 7:26, John 1:1, John 20:28, 1 Corinthians 15:3, Ephesians 1:7, Hebrews 2:9, John 19:40-42, John 2:19, Mark 16:19, Actus 7:56, 1 Timothy 2:5) 

• Salvation by Faith We believe that all humanity is lost and born with a sinful nature and can only be saved by a personal faith in the death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ, and not by any human merit or performance. (John 3:16-19, John 5:24, Romans 3:10, Romans 3:23, Romans 5:8-9, Ephesians 2:8-10, Titus 3:5)
